Every game starts at $75 base pay. Earn up to $26 more per game through in-app player ratings. Each thumbs-up from a player after the game adds $1 to your payout.
Prefer credits over cash? You can choose to receive Game Credits instead, issued at 1.2x the cash value.
Know the rules and bring the right energy? You are our kind of ref. Players are welcome to apply. Prior experience and certification are a bonus, not a requirement.
Referees check players in, drop the puck, and keep the game flowing. Our games run with one referee and are designed to prioritize fun. The ref app handles check-ins, penalties, stat tracking, and post-game reporting.
If you are already certified, you will receive training on BetterPuck game operations (approximately 30 minutes). If you are new to officiating, training covers everything including on-ice fundamentals (approximately 60 minutes). Players can become referees.
